PrettyFatGrlGang, established in 2019, is a non-profit organization based out of Raleigh, North Carolina. Founder and CEO, LaQueshia Brown, along with her extremely reliable leadership team, have dedicated their full efforts to building an organization committed to helping women learn the importance of self-love, what it looks like, and how to manage it. Perseverance, self-acceptance, and fellowship are the pillars on which PrettyFatGrlGang has been built.

Primarily operating on social media has allowed us to exponentially extend our outreach and grow our following in a short amount of time. Annual community events, such as our Back-to-School Bookbag Giveaway, Halloween Trunk-or-Treat, Easter Eggs-Stravaganza, and much more, have all contributed to helping spread awareness. Living in a society where harsh social stigmas and beauty standards don’t leave much room for bigger bodies to thrive, we vow to challenge those constructs and protect the mental health of those affected by them, daily. We successfully push our agenda by creating content and spaces that allow us to empower, uplift, and educate our target audience.
